Face to face appointments at Ross Hall hospital will allow you to tell your story and how your issues are impacting your life. It will afford a full physical examination and often an investigation such as x-ray or occasionally ultrasound

Virtual appointments, or telemedicine, is a contemporary method of patients accessing healthcare in a timely and convenient manner. It allows you as the patient to portray information on the issues you are experiencing and demonstrate by video any issues you are experiencing. The main limitations are that your surgeon may not be able to fully assess physically the nuances of your issue or that you wouldn’t have immediate access to imaging. These could be arranged through follow up face to face appointments.

Further Investigations

Commonly patients will require an Xray, ultrasound or MRI scan. If an x-rays is not available at the time of the appointment one can usually be accommodated on the day. MRI and ultrasound scans require a follow up appointment to discuss and review the results together.
